I’m a girl and as such I love anything that will help me get from drab to fab easily, cheaply and quickly. That makes me numero uno sucker for beauty books. I’ve yet to spend any money on one though, you’ll be glad to hear – I may be vain but I’m also cheap (this book is borrowed from a friend who though equally vain, is less cheap).
1001 Little Beauty Miracles is…okay. Yes, there are good tips but you know what, there’s nothing groundbreaking in there. There isn’t really anything that I didn’t already know (and probably forgot), there’s nothing that isn’t written about by magazines, or websites, of a similar nature. Also, I found the book quite repetitive and it even repeated a couple of things twice, albeit repackaged in a different way.
